The definition of the word “Wellborn” means to be born of wealthy lineage. The message of the brand is to change peoples perspective of the true meaning of wealth. Not everyone is born in a household that has a fancy house, new cars, and lots of money. Your perspective on life is more important than any of those things. People tend to compare themselves to others that have obtained this “materialistic” life and feel left behind. The relationships you create in life, how you treat others, and a positive outlook on the current position you are in is what will fulfill you more than money ever will. Wealth is Perspective.

“WEALTH IS PERSPECTIVE”
The “Wealth is Perspective Documentary”, debuted on July 22nd 2022. In the Middle of the 2020 Pandemic, David Sherer, a now 18 year old from Mauldin SC pondered the idea of creating his own business. After much thought, and hundreds of different ideas, David’s love for clothing landed him at creating his own clothing brand. Wellborn Clothing Company was born. This film shows the life of David as he goes through his Senior Year of high school. It shows different aspects of his life, and tells the struggles of what made him who he is today.
